We collect and process certain user data when you visit this website, primarily through website hosting and third-party services. This policy explains what information may be collected, how it is used, our use of artificial intelligence (AI), and the third parties involved.
1. Who operates this site?
This community website is published by the Order of $RETAIN project. For questions about site privacy or requests regarding data under our control, contact the project through @RetainBITCOIN on X. We do not control the separate privacy practices of the external services listed below.
2. What data do we collect?
- Technical and usage information: Visiting this website sends technical information to our hosting and content-delivery services, which may include IP address, browser and device type, request details, approximate location derived from IP, timestamps, referring pages, and site activity or security logs.
- Third-party interactions: Providers of embedded content, fonts, and externally linked services may collect usage data, device information, identifiers or cookies under their own policies.
- Information you voluntarily share: If you contact the project on X or another service, that provider may process what you submit.
At this time, this site does not have an account registration system, mailing-list form, or an on-site wallet connection feature. We do not ask for seed phrases or private keys.
3. Uploaded PFP images
The PFP Generator runs in your browser. When you upload a picture, the image is used locally to create a preview and downloadable PNG. The website's current generator does not intentionally upload your original photo or edited PFP to our servers or an AI service. Your browser may temporarily hold that image in memory while the editor is open. The exported file is saved to your device.
4. Third-party data collectors and services
The site includes or links to independent service providers that may collect data:
- Website hosting and CDN (for example, Netlify): Serves site pages, processes web requests, and may maintain operational, security, or traffic logs. If Netlify is your host, see Netlify's Privacy Statement.
- Google Fonts: Loads fonts from Google's servers. Google receives technical requests needed to deliver those fonts. See Google Fonts and privacy.
- X (formerly Twitter): The embedded SwearJar post loads content from X. X may receive IP address, visited page, browser details, and cookie information, even when you do not click the post. See X's Privacy Policy.
- External destinations: Links to The Hatchery, Jupiter, Solscan, OpenSea and other websites take you to services with their own privacy policies and data-collection practices. Those sites do not operate this site's PFP Generator.
Additional analytics, advertising, or monitoring services should be added to this policy if they are enabled on the hosted website.
5. Cookies, tracking and purposes
This site's current custom HTML and JavaScript do not set their own tracking cookies. However, embedded third-party content and external providers may use cookies or similar technologies. Technical data may be processed to deliver pages, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, measure usage where available, and display the embedded content. You can use browser controls to restrict cookies or block third-party content, though some features may stop working.
6. Use of artificial intelligence (AI)
AI-assisted tools have been used in developing website content, code, artwork concepts, and design. Some images or creative materials may have been generated or edited with AI. The website's current PFP Generator is a conventional browser-based image-compositing tool; it does not send uploaded profile photos to an AI model for processing, and we do not use this site to create AI-driven user profiles or automated decisions about visitors. If that changes, this policy should be updated before the new feature is deployed.
7. Disclosure, retention and security
Technical data may be handled by hosting and embedded-content providers to operate their services. Each provider controls its own data-retention periods and security practices. We do not directly sell visitor-submitted photos or operate an on-site database of uploaded PFPs. No online service can guarantee absolute security; avoid entering sensitive information into third-party pages unless you trust them.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain uses of personal data held by a website operator. Contact @RetainBITCOIN with requests relating to data we control. For information held directly by Google, X, Netlify or another service, use that provider's privacy controls or contact channels. You may also control local downloads and browser permissions yourself.
9. Children and international visitors
The website concerns speculative crypto assets and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. Visitors may access the website from jurisdictions with different data-protection laws, and third-party providers may process technical data in other countries.
10. Updates
We may revise this policy as site features, hosting providers, analytics, integrations or applicable requirements change. Any new version will be posted here with a new effective date. This policy describes the website implementation as of the date above.
